Definition

The online data set (Ascochyta rabiei genome assembly) is available at the NCBI Genome Database. The data set includes the full version 2 genome assembly for Australian reference isolate ME14 with links to annotation files, cDNA sequence and protein amino-acid sequence files. The version 2 assembly was constructed based on the PacBio and Illumina sequence data with correction and re-assembly of fragmented contigs from the version 1 assembly (described in DOI: 10.1534/g3.120.401265) using Oxford Nanopore sequencing. Improved gene calling and annotation was informed by RNA sequencing data generated within the project. CUR00023
