About the Aristotle Metadata Map
The Aristotle Metadata Map is a high-level overview of the metadata types that are currently
enabled in this registry.
To improve the visualisation not all relationships are shown.
Using the Aristotle Metadata Map
Click any square to see show more details in the details pane on the left.
When components are hidden Double click any square to show components for that metadata type. This will require the nodes to be shifted to include the new squares.
About the visualisation options
By default, the Aristotle Metadata Map will show all metadata types (eg. Data Element, or Indicators)
and components that are attached to metadata (eg. Numerators for an Indicator or Inclusions for a Data Set Specification).
Each components shows all of the information that can be stored when linking two metadata types, but can make the graph difficult to understand.
The buttons in the map allow you to toggle these on or off to change how the map is drawn. To help
- This will compress all components into their metadata "parent" type. For example, Numerators will be hidden within Indicators. Double click metadata types with a thicker border to expand them again.
-This will show all metadata and component relationships that are currently enabled in the registry.
